Solo blogging: A MI (Makan Indonesia) Effort
Location 1: Some chinese restaurant in front of U-mode Salon, Santa District, Jakarta Selatan (South Jakarta)
Many many condiments: Green chilli padi in vinegar check, chilli sauce check, sambal belacan check, soya sauce check, pepper check, salt check
Above
Tofu dish: Dried mushroom, chilli (no kick, for colour only), napa cabbage, and tofu (d'oh)
I thought the tofu, smelt weird, tasted weird, something about the Indonesians that love their food sweet. Must have used sweet soy sauce as the soup/gravy. Then again, maybe I'm just not used to it :)
Background: Stir fried Kailan
Foreground: Ayam Mentega Goreng (Butter fried Chicken)
Location 2: Yau-dah Cafe, Jalan Jaksa, Jakarta Pusat (Central Jakarta)
