The walk to Waffletown

Met my buddy Bren here at Newton MRT. Was late (again) but the gentleman here pretended not to notice. So off we went on our way to Waffletown. The walk was ok it takes about 5-15 minutes i dunno y Bren suggested we take the bus.

Warned him of how excessive sitting will only cause your arse to widen. Personally i think he's just testing the water.

Anyway fast forward the short walk, Waffletown is tucked away quietly in the armpit of town, Balmoral Plaza, in front of an estate of ugly red condos that has a very chalet feel to it.

SINKLESS chicken is served with fruit salad, potato wedges and mash.
The words frighteningly healthy comes to mind really.

*Muffled laughs* The best part about it was that he even tried to point it out to me.
Then shortly proceeded at being mad at the cashier uncle for not correcting his mistake.

Its a conspiracy i tell you. Mr Cashier uncle probably got a kick out of not correcting him. Probably for my sake, he thought the same.

Me being me. I went with the very fatty very oily artery clogging fried chicken.


2 pc chicken meal was served with coleslaw and mash on the side. Mmmmm.
Just the way it should be done. Yummmay.

Love the ambiance of Waffletown. Its really like one of those wonderful American diners. Bren commented that it looked like a page out of Archie comics or how he'd imagine it to be sans
rows and rows or booth seats back to back, flap jacks and sausages. *sigh*

For dessert we had WAFFLES!!!

Well, actually i had half a waffle a-la-mode. Which is really a fancy smansy name for waffle ice cream with fruit.

BUT!!! Bren ordered another plain waffle!

**Coz sinkless chicken wasn't enough and too frighteningly healthy but his man pride didn't allow him to say it out loud.

Side note: I da bao-ed 4 plain ones to have them with ice cream for the family, needless to say they loved it. What else is a girl to do when there are no more A&Ws around. :)))
